A visit with ZARA Jan.31,2009

Last Saturday I went to visit
Zara she is very BIG, very FRIENDLY and very HAIRY! She is living with her three sisters in a pasture next to Safari West. I am planning a BIRTHDAY Party
for her on
Sunday April 19 at Safari West. complete with a carrot cake for her and her sisters and a big one for all us humans too! More to come on this grand event!

Camp Programs and First Horseshow

LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
For all of you on Showteam that will be turning 16 this year The Leadership Program is a great way to qualify for a LEADLINE INSTRUCTOR POSITION !
4 weeks of Leadership or more will do it along with a few shadowing lessons, and your set to go into business!

SPECIAL CAMP T-SHIRTS
Also this year we will have special Camp T-shirts for CIT'S as well as those in the Leadership program
So that you will appear to everyone to be as IMPORTANT and SPECIAL as you are!

THE FIRST SHOW
The first SHOW will be at Springdown on Sunday March 22,2009
We would like the new Walk Trot Team to be in this Show as well as the Walk Trot Canter Team and perhaps the Cross Rail Team
Please let us know if this date works for you, bad weather will cancel this trip.
Springdown Equestrian is in Redwood City.
More information to come,right now I just need to know who would like to go?

Caroline's Birthday

Saturday was Caroline Bigg's 12 birthday, it was a chilly sunny morning lesson and then a PARTY in the tack room. She got a stuffed toy SKUNK for a present, which you can see on her head!

The Holidays are coming and we need to know if you
Show Team kids are showing up or not...

We make our day schedules out and reserve horses for the use of the Saturday Show Team kids (YOU), when you do not call us or email us, we have horses that do not get out that day or get the correct amount of attention and exercise...

Important Holiday Info:

There is No afterschool classes Christmas week and News Years week... but the Saturday classes remain the same! If you won't be in town... you must let us know!

We are closed December 24th, 25th and 26th...
Miwok is OPEN every other day closing around 3:30 weekdays.
Saturdays and Sunday hours remain the same - depending on how many of you are in town.

Monday and Thursday 4:00 classes (new walk trot team) We will have a special time for you to ride during the week of the Holiday break.
please come to class Mondays at 1:00 on December 22 and 29.

I LOVE the new picks of zara!! They are adorable! Can't wait for my lesson today! I won't have to wait much longer because we are leaving VERY soon!

Amelia and I went to visit Zara on Friday November 28 , she is getting bigger and still sweet , gentle , very friendly and loves baby carrots!
She followed us around like a puppy,if we would run she would trot after us!

Show Team Clothing Order Update

The 2008 showteam clothing order has officially gone to press. Thank you to all of you who got your information and checks to me. The order is scheduled to be completed on or around December 4, and I will go to pick the items up when they are ready and then bag them up by family. I'll let you know when they are available for pickup in the Livery Office.
